Apie Kustvillan
Kustvillan is a Swedish house builder based in Sundsvall. It grew out of an idea from two carpenters in the Timrå river delta in 2013, which became the patent for the easy-to-assemble wall blocks its houses are built from. Its parent company Paralox made wall elements for the construction industry, and Kustvillan was set up when private buyers asked to build their homes with the Paralox system.
The catalogue has 31 house proposals that can be built as shown or changed freely: single-storey villas, 1.5 and 2 storey houses, split-level houses, semi-detached houses (parhus), holiday homes, New England and barn-style houses. Every model has a turnkey price at three specification levels, BRA, BÄTTRE and BÄST. Turnkey prices start at 2,042,393 kr for the Granö and run to 5,143,584 kr for the Dalarö semi-detached house.
Kustvillan also builds machine halls and industrial halls for business customers.

A-hus
A-hus is a Swedish prefab home manufacturer with a long history, dating back to 1946. They are part of Derome, Sweden's largest family-owned wood industry. The Derome Group's unique vertically integrated chain begins with timber sourced directly from the forest, which is then processed into lumber, planks, and panels at their sawmills. This material is then used in various construction applications, including A-hus homes. A-hus operates a large-scale house factory, producing homes for much of Sweden. They are one of the few house manufacturers in Sweden that controls the entire chain from forest to finished house. A-hus offers a range of villas, along with available building lots throughout Sweden. Their website showcases various house models and allows customers to design their dream homes online, visualizing different styles and options in real time. Customers can choose from a generous standard or customize their homes with a wide range of options. All wood purchased by Derome follows traceability requirements according to PEFC and FSC standards. A-hus also emphasizes energy efficiency, striving to build well-insulated homes with low energy consumption.
