Homes are built in the Orillia facility, delivered and installed on the buyer's lot, and built to the Ontario Building Code. Every build is enrolled in the Tarion new home warranty program.
The catalogue has 33 preconfigured designs from 505 to 3,373 sq ft, covering homes, cottages, cabins and additional dwelling units such as garden suites. Published starting prices run from $229,500 for the Fox Den, Pine View and Willow to $949,500 for the Excelsior. Layouts, size and finishes can be changed with the design team.
A free consultation assesses the lot and confirms the all-in cost range before any commitment. Completed builds are spread across Simcoe County, Muskoka, Eastern Ontario and Northern Ontario.

Nelson Homes is a Canadian prefabricated home builder based in Alberta, founded in 1958 when Ray and Austin Nelson opened the Nelson Homes division of Nelson Lumber Company. The company builds four product lines: - Ready-to-Move (RTM) homes: fully constructed at the factory and delivered on a truck, designed to sit on a full basement. - Prefabricated home packages: panelized systems delivered in pre-built sections for on-site assembly. - Self-Contained RTM homes: freestanding units that don't require a basement, suited to cottages and secondary dwellings. - Custom house plans. Manufacturing runs out of two Alberta sales centres: Lloydminster (Highway 16 West, Kam's Industrial Park) and High River (Highway 2A). Nelson maintains dealers across Canada, and Quick Possession RTM inventory is available for immediate delivery within Alberta, Saskatchewan and parts of Manitoba. A separate United States operation runs at nelson-homes.com. Nelson's plan library is organised into the Nextmark Series, the Prairie Collection, and Cottage & Lake Plans. Base plans are priced on request; only currently-built Quick Possession units carry public prices.

Timber Block builds prefabricated homes with engineered wall panels made off-site, selling across Quebec, Ontario and the United States. Walls are R-30 as standard or R-36 as an option, developed with BASF, and an on-site construction system using Walltite XR30 insulation is also offered. Stock plans come in Classic, Farmhouse, Modern, Mountain, Craftsman and Heritage collections plus an ADU collection, and staff architectural technicians modify plans or draw custom ones. Buyers can take a turnkey build, partial construction, or build themselves with the company's Construction Concierge service.
